Field data vs public data

Field measurements and public data, side by side

Every structure on the route is reviewed against two sources: what your crew measured in the field with MeasurePRO, and what is published for that location — the US National Bridge Inventory (FHWA), Québec MTMD vertical clearances, Ontario MTO structures and OpenStreetMap. RoadScope puts both on the same route record, so the comparison is visible structure by structure, per lane where the public source publishes it.

Missed structures

Published records along the corridor reveal bridges, culverts and overpasses the field survey did not capture.

Errors in either source

A measured clearance and a published one that disagree are shown together, so the discrepancy gets investigated instead of trusted blindly.

Per-lane clearances

Where a public source publishes clearance per lane (Québec MTMD), RoadScope shows every lane, not just the lowest value.
